Joyful Family Celebrations in Nauders
Denise and Erik had such a fun ski wedding in Nauders, a mountainside town in Tyrol, Austria. First, they met with friends and family on the cobblestone streets. It was a small and intimate celebration, but that didn’t stop them from having all kinds of sweet and thoughtful details. The little kids had flower crowns and bunches of pastel balloons, and there were even cute ladybug clothespins doubling up as name tags so that everyone could feel at home.
The ceremony took place in a beautiful old chapel, and it was full of laughter. Denise and Erik are joyful people! After they left the chapel, they and some of the kids in the family hopped into a horse-drawn carriage to go through the city.
Perfect Weather for a Ski Wedding
Then we headed out to put the ‘ski’ in ‘ski wedding’. Denise pulled on some ski pants underneath her dress and they hit the slopes! Erik snowboards and Denise skis, and we had the best time following them down as they took off. This kind of photography is always a blast.
Eventually, Denise and Erik circled back to continue the party – they had a bunch of their friends meet them at a mountain hut beside the slope for drinks and more celebration. With the perfect weather and fresh snowfall, we had perfect conditions for this ski wedding, and it made Denise and Erik so happy to get to do what they love, with the people they love, to celebrate their love. What a perfect day!
