Stunning Helicopter Elopement in the Italian Dolomites
Taylor and Alexio have traveled all over the world together. So, when they decided to tie the knot, they knew that they wouldn’t have your average wedding. In fact, Alexio even said, “If I had to pick one word to describe our love, it would be exactly that – adventure.” So, a soaring helicopter elopement flying through the Italian Dolomites to land on Seceda was totally perfect for them!
The Adventure Begins
This fun-loving couple is from San Diego, California. They flew around the world to make their dream of a helicopter elopement come true. We met them for the first time at the Hotel Forestis and immediately hit it off!
To start the day, we piled into the helicopter for a sightseeing flight over the Dolomites. With clear blue skies, the conditions were perfect. You could feel the giddy excitement as Taylor and Alexio held hands and looked out over the peaks. The first stop on this helicopter elopement was a photo shoot at Lake Coldai. They climbed among the rocks and we got to take the most beautiful photos with the crystal lake.
A Moving Mountaintop Ceremony at this Helicopter Elopement
From Lake Coldai, we flew to Seceda, one of the most stunning mountain peaks in the region. Up here, Taylor and Alexio said their vows and exchanged their rings in a beautiful and intimate ceremony. We were joined on the peak by two amazing musicians, who played Alexio and Taylor’s wedding song as they danced.
Standing up there with the wind in our hair, beautiful music playing, and the most breathtaking view of the Dolomites – what a moment! It was everything we love about helicopter elopements. After a gin and tonic to warm up at the helicopter hut, we flew off into the sunset.
