Unconventional Greenhouse Wedding
You’ve never seen an elopement quite like this! Julia and Thomas were looking for an out-of-the-box place to say their vows, and they absolutely found one. Adventurous, aesthetic, and romantic, shooting this greenhouse wedding was a true joy.
Creating this Unconventional Greenhouse Wedding
For a wedding in an unconventional place, creating a sense of contrast is key to the look. In this greenhouse wedding, the flowers did so much to create whimsy and charm. Thomas and Julia brought a frame to place between the greenhouses, covered with a riot of flowers in neutral tones. The softness contrasted with the harsh textures of the industrial buildings. This is such a clever way to create a sense of occasion for a greenhouse wedding that doesn’t take place at a traditional venue.
The Little Things Made this Beautiful
As photographers, we loved the little details here. The clean lines of the ‘aisle’ formed between the greenhouses. The reflection of the ceremony framed in a puddle of water. The mist hovered up behind the happy couple. The beautiful ‘rose garden’ that bloomed in one of the greenhouses – taking a traditional romantic concept and giving it a modern twist.
Julia and Thomas just got to bask in their love. There was such total privacy in this place, which is the point of any good elopement. Getting to share these intimate moments is once-in-a-lifetime. There’s nothing quite like it.
