This Dolomites elopement shoot up in the Three Peaks was beautifully spontaneous. Steffanie, the genius behind the Dolomite elopement wedding films at No Matter the Weather, asked us if we wanted to do a styled shoot up in the Three Peaks. It was one of the most famous features of South Tyrol’s mountains. We had been longing to work with Viola and Tracy for a long time. So, when they said they were in, we pulled together this shoot and headed up to the Three Peaks.
A Gorgeous Sunset Dolomites Elopement Shoot
With two beautiful flower crowns crafted by Florales Atelier and dresses by Brautmoden Tirol, Viola and Tracy had a wild beauty that perfectly suited a Dolomites elopement. Once we found the perfect spot for mountain views, they took off their shoes in the grass and the wild flowers. There is something so striking about the contrast between lush green slopes and the sheer cliffs and pale snow of the higher peaks.
Most people visit these mountains at sunrise or around noon. However, a Dolomites elopement is far more beautiful at sunset. There were no tourists around as we took in the view. No cars – just peace, rest, and unforgettable moments. We got the best light, as golden hour intensified into a deep sunset orange, glowing in the lovers’ stunning hair.
Glowing Sun and Dramatic Fog
As the sun went down, a lovely fog descended on us and wrapped around Viola and Tracy. It was the perfect blend of drama and beauty – a combination that every Dolomites elopement is sure to provide.
